The slow electron project started after a boat ride with a dear friend on a sunny Florida weekend of 2020. After that ride, I already started questioning the boat structure, the weight, the length etc. After a few giggles, I told my Friend in a joking fashion at that time that: “I bet I can build a nice little yacht for a fraction of the price you paid for your boat…”. Not being a boat person myself rather like a nerd with an engineer mind! I researched a lot on the matter on how to build a boat and what propulsion systems are available to fit my needs.

Forward 3 years of continuing research and hard work, I ended up with my ‘All Electric boat concept design”. Since I knew I was not building a speed boat rather a spacious and functional small yacht, I decided to name it “The Slow Electron”. It’s an all-purposes small yacht with a hybrid hull design that can addresses both ocean rides (small waves) along with inland lakes.

Like a million-dollar yacht, the Slow Electron is equipped with a bow thruster, a functioning faucet and sink, a bathing platform that can move up and down along with the motors installed underneath, a great sounds system for entertainment and an emergency toilet!
